Connection of the camera to the built-in radio navigation system (note notes) This set is a special connection interface in which allows the presentation of the camera on the radio navigation display, the installation of an additional display is thus eliminated.

Our interface is vehicle-specific and the installation is very easy (connection instructions see downloads in the item description).

The image of the reversing camera is displayed as soon as the reverse gear is engaged.

If parking assistance is already available, it can still be used.

With optical representation of a parking system, the visual display can continue to be displayed (you can switch between camera image and parking system).

The following radio navigation units support the representation of the reversing camera.

This set includes a reversing camera of your choice and a matching AMPIRE 5 inch color display.

If an accessory radio or navigation device is installed with a separate camera input (yellow chinch plug), please contact us, we also have a corresponding retrofit kit in the program for these vehicles.

Delivery.

Lead the cable of the camera through the existing rubber grommet into the trunk and lay it from there to connection interface for your radio navigation system.

The connection is made only to the voltage supply for the reversing light and to ground, the video cable is simply connected via a chinch plug to the connection interface for your radio navigation unit.

A vehicle-specific instructions for dismantling the bumper and for tapping off the power supply of reversing light is included.

Connection interface radio navigation unit: no matter which radio or navigation unit is installed, our interface is quickly installed See below under Technical data for the connection interface you will find the respective connection instructions.

The interface only has to be connected to the power supply of the radio navigation device, in addition a plug is plugged into the free connection.

The rear view camera image appears in the display as soon as the reverse gear has been engaged.

Therefore always connect the power supply line of the camera to the cable of the reversing light, so this is only active in reverse.

This set will not fit in cars equipped with a TV tuner or a multimedia interface Retrofitting in cars with VW RCD 510, RNS 315, RNS 510, MFD 3 navigation units, the vehicle must be coded on the reversing camera (for example by using VCDS, VCP or Odis), corresponding information is included with our delivery.

On request, the installation is possible in our house (surcharge 299 euros).
